Mountain Souls – Terms of Service

By accessing our website, booking our accommodation, or participating in any tours or activities offered by Mountain Souls, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

Bookings & Confirmation

All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment. Mountain Souls reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at its discretion.

Payments

  • A minimum advance payment (usually 30–50%) is required to confirm bookings.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before check-in or prior to the start of the activity.
  • Payments can be made via approved methods such as UPI, bank transfer, or other accepted platforms.

Pricing

All prices are subject to change without prior notice due to seasonality, availability, or operational factors. However, confirmed bookings will not be affected.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

  • Provide valid government-issued ID proof at check-in
  • Respect local culture, property, and surroundings
  • Follow all house rules and safety instructions

Any damage caused to property or equipment will be chargeable.

Use of Services

Our services, including accommodation and adventure activities, must not be used for illegal or harmful purposes. Mountain Souls reserves the right to refuse service to anyone violating these terms.

2. Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy

Accommodation (Homestay Bookings)

  • Free Cancellation: Up to 7 days before check-in
  • Partial Refund (50%): 3–7 days before check-in
  • No Refund: Less than 72 hours before check-in or in case of no-show

Tours & Activities

  • Cancellations made at least 5 days in advance are eligible for a partial or full refund (case dependent)
  • Last-minute cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable

Rescheduling

  • Bookings may be rescheduled subject to availability
  • Rescheduling requests must be made in advance
  • Additional charges may apply depending on season and availability

Force Majeure (Unavoidable Circumstances)

Mountain Souls shall not be held responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Landslides
  • Political unrest
  • Transport disruptions

In such cases, we will try to offer rescheduling options, but refunds are not guaranteed.

Refund Processing

All eligible refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days through the original mode of payment.

4. House Rules, Liability & Responsible Tourism Policy

House Rules (For Stay Guests)

  • Check-in: After 2:00 PM
  • Check-out: Before 11:00 AM
  • Maintain low noise levels, especially during evenings
  • No illegal activities or substances allowed
  • Guests are responsible for maintaining cleanliness
  • Any damage to property will be charged accordingly

Safety & Liability Disclaimer

Mountain Souls provides accommodation and organizes adventure activities such as trekking, biking, and tours.

By booking with us, you acknowledge that:

  • Participation in such activities involves inherent risks
  • Mountain Souls is not liable for injuries, accidents, loss, or damage to personal belongings
  • Guests participate at their own risk

Guests are advised to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by our team.
